Not a Must Watch
The problem with this drama though is that it just feels too generic. The moment that they open up with a wide shot of the sea filmed by a drone, it feels like you have seen this sort of ITV crime thriller hundreds of times before. Go to Full Review

Given the way it dragged glacially over four nights, perhaps it should have been The Long, Long, Long Call? Go to Full Review

More than most mysteries, this is a series packed with skilfully drawn (and well-acted) characters. It’s a troubled community filled with people, not merely a collection of suspects. Go to Full Review

Suzanne T @RT08265345 Dec 4 Thoughtful, complex characters portrayed with depth. Strong cinematography. Well acted. See more Andrei D @RT74856639 07/31/2024 A little too classic in its approach and muddled toward the end See more jon f @RT44721479 06/25/2022 I really enjoyed watching this on Filmin. I don´t understand a lot of the negativity around this show. Good ensemble work, twisting storyline. Great to see a leading role and detective who also happens to be gay. A few lovely old actors and actoresses in the line up. And stunning scenery. See more 03/17/2022 I must be living in an alternative universe. "Great writing". You think? Unadulterated dross methinks. Illogical, manifestly incorrect in relation to legal issues raised, and, worst of all, utterly boring. Just finished viewing 3 seasons of "The A Word". Watch this and compare. The absolute antithesis of this rubbish. See more 02/17/2022 I really don't care "Who Done It" now. I am tired of trying to hear what they say. Love the thought of the plot but having resorted to earphones with still no joy, I found it a waste of my time as I'm not much the wiser. If only they had stopped with the interruption of loud music and all that soft talking I might have made headway. I'll try the book instead. See more peter m @PMac76 11/12/2021 Excellent. Strong cast, great plot, beautifully shot. See more Read all reviews
