It's all about being "business in the front, party in the back" when it comes to the Mullet brothers, two siblings who sport the same haircut but are actually very different from each other. Dwayne is loud and has an in-your-face demeanor, while brother Denny is quieter and easygoing. The guys' mother has recently married a clean-cut game show host who is the polar opposite of Dwayne and Denny.

What to Know

Critics Consensus

The Mullets is nothing short of a bad hair day for the sitcom genre.

Creators-writers-producers Bill Oakley and Josh Weinstein, who have perfectly respectable credits from "The Simpsons" and "Futurama," should probably keep this one off their resumes. Go to Full Review
Alessandra Stanley New York Times 12/31/2019
The premise is funnier than the execution. The show relies almost entirely on viewers' affection for a trend that should be passing pretty soon. Go to Full Review

The Mullet boys are not especially bright, but they do have a way with words. Go to Full Review
Rob Owen Pittsburgh Post-Gazette 03/03/2020
Lowbrow humor can be quite smart... Unfortunately, "The Mullets" is just stupid as it revels in the cheap beer-swilling inanities of two brothers who wear their hair in the mullet style and also have Mullet as a surname. Go to Full Review

Arguably the worst show of the season, this comedy searches for humor in a family with two dumb brothers who sport mullets. Go to Full Review
Alan Pergament Buffalo News 12/31/2019
It has its moments and at least it is purposely dumb, which is more than you can say about a lot of old UPN bombs. Go to Full Review
