Captivating even without the spectacle of Season 1, The Pitt goes from strength to strength. Its vitals have never been stronger. Go to Full Review

The Pitt has been brave in highlighting how hard it actually is to keep your empathy up over time for people who you love as they go through mental-health struggles. Go to Full Review

The Pitt’s excellent Season 2 didn’t attempt to match or outdo the crisis of last year’s PittFest calamity. Instead, it managed to wring equally compelling drama out of all of its characters just having a really, really crappy day. Go to Full Review

The Pitt feels too self-centred, too safe and too polite at times this time around. It spends too much time worrying about Dr Robby. Go to Full Review

Ccertainly is as good, realizing what a force it has in Dana, and still makes the time for every one of its patients, even if the shows vibe is that the doctors lack the time. It’s all about building emotional payoff, and it still works like a charm. Go to Full Review

Tony T @tonyknowsbest 17h Not as great as Season 1, but still solid overall and comparatively to other medical shows this is gold amongst slop. While it’s just slowly going towards this path, hoping we don’t go down the rabbit hole of unrealistic scenarios like other shows of this genre fall into. See more Dawn T. @RT70248308 1d Season one was better. The writing went downhill. The scenarios stopped being realistic. It was too hard to suspend your disbelief. See more Yidan W. @RT26961912 2d Too centric on Robby to skip all the other fun parts in season one. And just don’t understand why Robby has been so mean to others all the time—especially to Mohan and Colins (S1). Does he have problems with women of color? Also, it’s no need to be this political to advocate for Zionism… See more John B. @RT42354657 2d After loving Season 1 and calling it the best medical drama since ER, I was honestly disappointed with the direction Season 2 took. What made the first season great was the realism, intensity, medical focus, and authentic emergency room dynamics. Season 2 started drifting away from that and leaned much heavier into political messaging and social commentary that often felt forced instead of natural to the storyline. The ICE detention and representation story arcs felt less like balanced storytelling and more like the writers pushing a specific political viewpoint. I don’t mind difficult or controversial topics being included in a drama — especially in a hospital setting where real-world issues absolutely exist — but this season seemed more focused on making political statements than delivering the grounded, character-driven medical drama that made the first season so strong. I still think the show has potential, but I hope future seasons return to focusing more on emergency medicine! See more Julie A. @snacksizecinema 6d They're really trying to pack too much in, no ED has as many issues in one shift. See more Read all reviews
