All the stuff that the show was very good at in season 1 is still here in season 2. But what is not working for me is this is a season very much about burnout overall. Go to Full Review

It’s the no-pore-left-behind crispness of Johanna Coelho’s digital photography that for me provides the major emotional through-line, a most perfect marriage of mode-of-capture and milieu. Go to Full Review

The Pitt is so strong that it shows up the increasingly lazy habits of its TV peers: the assumption that audiences cannot grasp difficult dialogue, the constant exposition and recapping, and a reliance on sudden shocks over depth. Go to Full Review

It isn’t original – ultimately it is just ER with bonus grit and minus George Clooney – but in the stifling world of streaming television, The Pitt hits like a breath of fresh air. Go to Full Review

Sure, The Pitt is just a TV show, and there are millions of them. But it is a reminder that there is another way, a different path that we could take, if we want to. Go to Full Review

[The season] works thanks to its foundations, especially due to Wyle's outstanding performance, but it falters when trying to inject new energy that never quite flows smoothly. [Full review in Spanish] Go to Full Review

JOED T @JOEDLOPART 10h I fucking love this series, like seriously if you compare The Pitt to Grey's Anatomy there's a HUGE difference of quality and charming characters (Finally a Hospital series that focus on Hospital environment, 0% Dumb romance) can i say something?: F Al-Hashimi See more Craig L. @RT12526373 12h If you like medical dramas. This is as good as it gets. Compelling action and acting. See more Shaun H. @ShaunTheDon85 2d 🍅 5/5 Superb Cast. High Ocatve Action. Never A Dull Moment. Love This Show. Highly Recommend See more Kim B @RT86564524 2d Reviewers that love the show because of the accuracy of the real-life situations it’s portraying, while simultaneously complaining about the accurate real-life situations it’s portraying, is a choice. If you have an issue with some of the real-life storylines, maybe look within. Just because you don’t like it doesn’t make it less true. This show is amazing, great storylines, amazing acting and it has heart. Cant wait for S3! See more Greg H @NotSiskelAndEbert 3d Overall, I really like the show. I enjoy the characters, the majority of the writing, the character development and the acting. This is despite it's biased political storylines. They portray various social issues in the worst possible light for anyone to the right of center and with very little support for other viewpoints. I don't think they would ever consider a storyline about a Jewish student who is attacked and injured on a college campus, someone who was hurt due to an undocumented immigrant especially one that a long criminal past and had been reinserted into society multiple times, a Christian who was shot while attending a church service, a transgender shooter, an attack on a conservative just for being conservative, etc. Just to be clear, I am not a Trump person, I am an independent but I am just tired of various agencies being so incredibly biased whether it is on the right or the left. See more Debra I @SheDolphin 4d Compared to Season 1, Season 2 of The Pitt is a character driven slow burn evolving in a background of utter chaos. Most every character (including some new ones) is driven to the edge of pressure and hopelessness as casualties pile in during a ransom for their online technology and an Ice raid that takes one of their own. I am dying to see episode 14 this week as the tension was ratcheted up yet another level before the big season finale. Everyone is affected including the night shift that has just come on shift while the day shift is trapped having to scan in their patient records of the past 5 hours before they can go home!! Who is going to go over the edge? Who is going to rise to the occasion? Who will return for Season 3? It's all left unclear as I wait and wait for the final 2 episodes. See more Read all reviews
