It perfectly captures how messy and awkward it is to grow up. High school romance and trauma can easily feel too heavy or overwhelming, but the anime balances it beautifully with cute chibi animation and mini comedy moments. Instead of ruining the mood, those funny breaks actually lift the tension and give you a breath of fresh air from all the teenage drama and conflict. I really love how they depict delicate themes like bullying, trauma, and healing with so much care. The character development is on the slower side, but it completely hooks you and feeds your curiosity about what’s going to happen next.
