Though this show highlights its celebrity hosts, they aren't really the stars of the show. The contestants on The Road make The Road. Go to Full Review

What The Road smartly does is use a cinematic, vérité approach anchored with a clear format, and while I've only seen the premiere, it's a solid start. Go to Full Review

Lisa P @Lisalu Jan 15 Great start to a series, can't wait for the next one. Makes me want to go back to Nashville. Bring on series 2 See more Carmene M @Carmene Jan 8 Keith Urban is awesome as usual ... The contestants are entertaining leaving you looking forward to further episodes See more David H @RT39094686 Nov 25 Too much talk and not neatly enough music. Audience should hear each song for each singer in entirety. The stories mean nothing to the outcome so let us hear the songs. See more Becky Y. @byates3789 Nov 4 I live in Nashville but am not a huge country music fan - so much of it seems cookie cutter, manufactured in a soundstage. But this show is surprisingly engaging. These artists are seasoned, with compelling stories and you can’t hide behind autotune when you are performing live. Their stories have emotional impact and the show is crafted well so you begin to care about these artists. Keith Urban is a true singer/songwriter who has the creds and talent to pull this off. I’m hooked! See more Stewart M @RT45986291 Oct 26 As a music reality junkie, The Road is a surprisingly engaging look at life on tour. Watching contestants hustle for stage time with icons like Keith Urban and Blake Shelton is both inspiring and dramatic. The backstage camaraderie and country vibes make it feel like a feel-good road trip with plenty of heart.
