This is the prime example of how without the biggest budget something so beautiful can be created when we have character development, when major social problems are touched (as discrimination, child ab*se, gender inequality etc when the plot is strong, the writing's brilliant and you just can't resist. Most of the acting very poor. We only watched the last 2 episodes to finish it off because we'd already watched 6 episodes. Veinte años después, se reencuentran como personas muy distintas, obligados a enfrentar su pasado y nuevas pruebas que pondrán a prueba el poder de su amistad. Los primeros cuatro episodios son una joya: bellos, tiernos y profundamente conmovedores. Las actuaciones infantiles son notables y tocan fibras emocionales con autenticidad. Es en esta etapa donde brilla con más fuerza la serie, así como también el entrañable personaje de la Muxe Solange, interpretada con dulzura y dignidad por La Bruja De Texcoco. Sin embargo, en la segunda mitad, la serie pierde algo de fuerza: aunque se mantiene el foco en la amistad, se introducen tramas paralelas de tono más telenovelesco que desvían la atención sin aportar demasiado.
