This long-running animated comedy focuses on the eponymous family in the town of Springfield in an unnamed U.S. state. The head of the Simpson family, Homer, is not a typical family man. A nuclear-plant employee, he does his best to lead his family but often finds that they are leading him. The family includes loving, blue-haired matriarch Marge, troublemaking son Bart, overachieving daughter Lisa and baby Maggie. Other Springfield residents include the family's religious neighbor, Ned Flanders, family physician Dr. Hibbert, Moe the bartender and police chief Clancy Wiggum.

TheMovieSearch R @TheMovieSearch Jan 21 Season 34 of The Simpsons arrives at a moment when the series could easily feel worn down, yet this season shows a noticeable rebound in energy and confidence. There are moments when the show still brushes up against familiarity, but this year feels more focused and intentional in how it tells its stories. The series deserves credit for its resilience. Even when things look rough, it continues to find ways to recalibrate and remind audiences why it has lasted this long. The characters remain the heart of the show. Every member of the ensemble brings a specific balance that keeps the stories layered and emotionally grounded. Their depth continues to enrich the world of Springfield, turning even smaller moments into something meaningful and recognizable. The Simpsons has become a cultural staple, and the idea of it ending feels almost unimaginable. If that day ever comes, it will be one of the saddest moments in television history because of how deeply the show is woven into society See more Stephen C @bob25009 Jan 3 22 funny and parody episodes. Some episodes Inliked are Treehouse of Horror 33, Not It, Game Done Changed, and Lisa the Boy Scout. Some episodes I didn't like were Fan-ily Feud and When Nelson Met Lisa. I like how this season took risks and changed it's format several times. Taking risks can make super good episodes and they can teach writers to learn from there mistakes. The Simpsons Season 34 is a good Simpsons Season to watch. I give it a 79%. What a good season. See more Read all reviews
