I think the way they are able to weave storylines through each episode and season says a lot about how good the writers of this show are. I don't know how they do it every episode, but they know how to make me tear up and get chills. See more Jacklyn M Oct 1 Being that this show made it to Netflix, it reminds me to write an honest review for each season: Season two was wonderful! While it wasn't quite up to the perfection that was season one, this was a fun season that didn't leave viewers with the feeling of a "sophomore slump". The plot continues in mending old wounds within the Landry family, while also focusing on the new difficulties that the pond has brought them. The writing, along with the choice of music, remains an overall success with minimal cracks to the story's foundation. I docked points for the extreme build-up to Lingermore, being that the actual reveal wasn't as shocking as it was built up to be. See more Naomi H Aug 28 Even better than season 1. Season 2 completely blew me away. Honestly, it’s my favorite so far. The plot twists had me on the edge of my seat the whole time – I couldn’t believe how everything unfolded. I absolutely love the time-travel element, especially the parts that dive into the medieval era. The storytelling is just on another level.
