David Opie Empire Magazine 3d
5/5
Tip Toe practically stomps in, boldly calling for history to not repeat itself. Davies has done it again, creating another landmark show that captures the queer zeitgeist.  Go to Full Review
Ben Dowell The Times (UK) 4d
4/5
When Davies steps down from his pulpit and lets his characters breathe, his storytelling is visionary, devastating, passionate and humane. And we should listen. Go to Full Review
Rebecca Nicholson Financial Times 5d
4/5
Cumming and Morrissey are outstanding, the story horribly compelling, and the horrors plain and brutal. Go to Full Review
Andrew Murray The Upcoming 6h
5/5
Cumming and Morrissey take centre stage in a tour de force drama from Davies. Perfectly paced and smartly written from start to finish, Tip Toe is mandatory viewing that deserves our undivided attention. Go to Full Review
Barbara Ellen Observer (UK) 19h
Tip Toe works best not just as a study of Clive’s attitudes, but also Leo’s endlessly patient management of them. The story’s climax feels excessive, but that was a risk Davies was prepared to take. Go to Full Review
Christopher Stevens Daily Mail (UK) 4d
2/5
Davies has an instinctive knack for a story. But he can't help overloading it with ugly, badly constructed diatribe. The result is like dumping a bungalow on a motorboat. Inevitably, the whole lot sinks. Go to Full Review

David S @RT29165693 2h Dull, we've all seen it many times before. Usually written by RTD, Russel T Davies, homosexual proselytiser, continues to demonstrate his diverse and varied writing ability, with Tiptoe. He began with his promoting queers with Queer as Folk, which was about...queers. He followed up with It's a sin. which was about...queers. He spun off a Doctor Who related show, Torchwood, which was about...queers. Then he "reimagined" Doctor Who which he made...all about...queers. And he killed the show. Then he wrote Tiptoe breaking new ground with an original and creative new direction with a show which is...all about...queers. What a creative force. See more Mick R @Mickross 10h In a time where street knife crime and murders is very real but the perpetrators and victims are very different streaming services and privileged directors demonstrate again how stuck they are in social narratives from a generation ago and won't dare to touch issues that matter now. This kind of slop is propped up by the media. See more Jan V @RT50475020 18h A series full of stereotypes. It tries to be smart, but can't hide the fact that it's another series pushing the same old message. And sure, in the UK the problem are the Polish people. How dare you! See more Dongang J @RT27911827 21h The ending is incredibly realistic considering our current world. See more Cormac Finn O @Cormacfob 1d Very good series by Russell t davis See more edward C @Felix_deer 1d My god, I wasn't ready for this show. I cried tears of sadness throughout, I cried while being speechless in the end of the last episode. So many things here mirror real life, my struggles, my friends struggles. To see it all compact into this... It made me scared. Definitely not a show for the faint on heart, definitely not a show everyone will understand, but it keeps you on the edge of your seat and devastates you at the end. Alan did a outstanding job as always. If you can stomach it, a truly heartbreaking show. See more Read all reviews
