Wolfgang G @RT51462348 12/19/2023 Tore ist ein Drama von Erika Calmeyer (Regie) …und dem YouTube-Blogger William Spetz, der zugleich auch die Hauptrolle spielt… Die Geschichte erzählt von einem jungen Mann, der den Verlust eines lieben Menschen nicht verkraftet, und dessen in einem Art Rausch von Drogen, Sexualität und schließlich in ein selbstzerstörerisches Verhalten fällt… Tore ist durchaus eine traurige und dunkle Geschichte und zugleich eine Art Coming-out Geschichte eines 27-jährigen jungen Mannes, der vor allem weglaufen will und doch nicht kann und sogleich herausfindet, was er wirklich ist. If you think of Tore as ten years younger, his incredibly wrong choices and sexual misadventures can make you recall adolescent vulnerability. But at age 27, Tore is a tragedy - emotionally and intellectually stunted. While the first five episodes explore his missteps with honesty, you can't help but wonder if there's something more wrong with him than having lived too long under his father's wing and failing to mature. The sixth episode, focused on his drag-queen fairy godmother and an improbably heist (which could be too easily found found out) rings false as if the creator thought he'd better leave his audience with SOME kind of happy ending.
