This crime drama follows members of a police department as they try to uncover a mystery against the elements. In a fjord near a small Icelandic town, a ferry arrives from Denmark with 300 passengers -- but only their journey stops here. A storm overhead and a treacherous blizzard prevent the ferry and the townspeople from leaving the remote area. When a dismembered, mutilated body washes up onshore, the local police realize a murder has taken place just hours earlier. Everybody trapped in the vicinity immediately becomes potential suspects and chaos descends as they try to find the killer.

Raphael H 04/24/2024 My favorite season so far. Really liked how this one was less predictable and less traditional than the previous two. Also great to finally learn a bit more about the main characters. The ending might seem slightly disappointing, but pretty much everything else would have been hard to believe so it seems appropriate. While I would have liked a season 4 it seems to me that door is rather closed at the end given the ending and also the creators said that this was going to be the final one. Bloodless caricatures that bring nothing to a flatline script. This should have been pronounced dead at the pre-production stage. If you get past the fourth episode check your own pulse.
