The only problem with the story is Álvaro Morte trying to put on an Andalusian accent and notoriously failing. His role is good but his acting is eclipsed by his poor accent. He should have kept his original accent. Lo cierto es que, aunque no revoluciona el género, la serie consigue enganchar gracias a una atmósfera tensa y unos giros que sorprenden. El trío protagonista —Kiti Mánver, Álvaro Morte y Hovik Keuchkerian— sostiene buena parte del pulso dramático. Mánver, en concreto, está extraordinaria: transmite dolor, determinación y una rabia contenida que no se desborda, sino que aflora con precisión. Morte añade intensidad con un personaje atormentado, mientras que Keuchkerian equilibra con una interpretación sobria y firme. Y Nadia Vilaplana, como Verónica, aporta juventud y autenticidad; su presencia ilumina brevemente la pantalla, pero deja huella. El ritmo es ágil, directo, sin escenas superfluas. La ambientación, entre paisajes que contrastan belleza y oscuridad, refuerza la sensación de misterio y amenaza constante. A ratos quizá se estire alguna secuencia más de lo necesario, pero nunca lo suficiente como para romper la tensión. Los giros de guion, aunque previsibles en algunos momentos, funcionan, y lo mejor es el trasfondo: una reflexión incómoda sobre cómo la justicia se transforma en venganza. La serie no busca moralizar, sino mostrar el coste que tiene el dolor cuando consume por dentro. En definitiva, Dos tumbas no reinventa el thriller, pero lo cumple con eficacia y sello propio. Lo mejor es su reparto —delicado, potente y creíble— y una historia que retiene desde el primer episodio hasta el cierre. Even if it doesn’t revolutionize the genre, the series manages to hook you with its tense atmosphere and a few surprising twists. The leading trio —Kiti Mánver, Álvaro Morte and Hovik Keuchkerian— carries much of the dramatic weight. Mánver, in particular, is outstanding: she conveys pain, determination, and a restrained rage that never bursts but surfaces with precision. Morte brings intensity to a tormented character, while Keuchkerian balances the cast with a sober and firm performance. And Nadia Vilaplana, as Verónica, delivers youth and authenticity; her brief presence still leaves a lasting impression. The pacing is agile, straightforward, with no unnecessary scenes. The setting, with landscapes that contrast beauty and darkness, reinforces the sense of mystery and constant threat. At times, a sequence may feel stretched longer than needed, but never to the point of breaking the suspense. The plot twists, while predictable at moments, work, and the strongest aspect is the subtext: an uncomfortable reflection on how justice can turn into vengeance. The series doesn’t try to moralize, but instead shows the cost of pain when it consumes you from within. In the end, Two Graves doesn’t reinvent the thriller, but it delivers with efficiency and a distinct tone.
