Eric N @EricNix Sep 12, 2026 Unconditional is an excellent series on several different levels. There are plenty of twists and turns along the way - and the main thread about a mother's love for her child is heart-wrenching, especially as the season moves along and the revelations about the daughter mount. The ending is anti-climactic, so I'm assuming it's a set-up for a future season, although I'm not sure Apple will be devoted enough to the series to make that happen, since it doesn't seem to have generated that much buzz. In any case, season one is a great self-contained ride, with excellent acting and writing, combined with fantastic scenery in a number of different locations. Episode 8 was a complete failure for me, even as the question of a season 2 was pretty much predictable . The finale left you with that "ugh" feeling.
