It feels like a few punches are pulled this year with some natural follow-up questions ignored and some potential analysis saved for another documentarian ... still, all worth your time, whether you’re a sports fan or not. Go to Full Review

L. F @RT68678650 Sep 19 I absolutely LOVE the Untold series! I'm not a huge sports fan, rarely know the names and faces of people who feature in an episode, nor am I previously aware of the events covered, and yet I'm still absolutely gripped by the stories. A true sign of a documentary series done well! Excellent storytelling featuring brilliant contributors. See more lou l @RT51896268 07/23/2024 This is pretty slanted view. No really outside voices. Just players and the coach. they completely cut out Aaron Hernandez existence and contribution to the team. It does give you a good view on why these guys find violence an acceptable form of expression. They are taught it and rewarded for it. See more Walter W @GTCounter 08/31/2023 Its still a great show; people are complaining about not enough dirt on FL gators Urban Meyer. Not enough dirt on Johnny Manziel. YET: If you're a fan of watching football; you will LOVE watching those 5 episodes. Esp if you're somewhat new to college football; or like most fans, all about NFL... so you didn't know much about either Johnny Football phenomenon or the Tim Tebow Gators. Its especially annoying that people are upset Aaron Hernandez didn't get a lot of attention, Netflix HAS A WHOLE DOCUMENTARY SERIES JUST about Aaron Hernandez; which is also very good, its overkill to talk about him yet again. "untold" is the story of the Gators and what it took to win 2 national championships, it took everything they had and more. See more Dan R @RT53832531 08/28/2023 Netflix's 'Untold' series returns with one of the episodes being 'Untold: Jake Paul the Problem Child'. SYNOPSIS: 'Pro boxing sensation and perennial troublemaker Jake Paul shares his unlikely journey from online prankster to power puncher in this documentary.' I have no interest in the Paul brothers at all, so I didn't know a lot about them before this documentary. Finding out their backstory was really interesting and this documentary gives a warts and all look at their troubled route to where they are now as internet phenomenons. Jake Paul's journey into the world of boxing has been a bumpy one, with many people within the boxing world shunning him and considering his work an insult to the sport. I'm no expert so I can't really comment on this, but to say he appears to have some talent. The Paul brothers are really unlikeable people and that's clearly seen here. However, they've turned this public image into thriving businesses and made themselves into very successful businessmen. You don't need to like Jake Paul to find this documentary interesting and to find some enjoyment in how he went from internet sensation to one of the most polarizing figures in sports. Interesting. 7/10 See more dave d @RT34924333 08/25/2023 This is getting worse and worse. The pretentious level in the Jake Paul doc was next level. See more Steven C @RT36233350 08/14/2023 I live in Texas and there are many stories told about Johnny Football, the episode on his was excellent and very insightful. I also enjoyed the other episodes in the series as well....keep up the great work. See more Read all reviews
