Lisa Vanderpump first gained fame as a cast member on "The Real Housewives of Beverly Hills," but her full-time job is as co-owner and boss at West Hollywood, Calif., restaurant SUR, which stands for Sexy Unique Restaurant. Vanderpump balances her motherly instinct with her shrewd business sense to maintain control over the restaurant's wild group of employees who are working at the eatery while pursuing their dreams. Drama seems to be part of the job for the employees at SUR, who tend to date -- and, in most cases, subsequently break up with -- their fellow co-workers.

Anne C 09/03/2024 I used to love this show but the continual bullying is a huge turn off. Adriana and Katie need to be axed because their behavior is unacceptable. Adriana mad at Toms cheating but she has a sexual session with Lala in front of him when he is driving and she is isn't sleeping with him? I would love to see Raquel return and Jax and Brittany separately and watch them move forward with their lives like the real world, co parenting and getting along because people like them. Stassi and Beau should return and also bring in new 30ish folks and Beau adds a decency aspect. I have always loved Lisa and Ken and their love of these people and animals. Katie is so miserable and nasty and Adriana is full of herself too. The sandwich shop is of zero interest to anyone and if their story-line continues, the show has run its course for me. The way they've handled Sandoval's storyline, particularly by exploiting mental health and suicide, is highly disturbing. Despite handing him an easy arc, Tom fails to deliver convincingly, and the constant "woe is me" narrative is overwhelming. The show's energy has dimmed, veering into dark and manipulative territory, with the producers seemingly underestimating viewers' intelligence. I find it unbearable to endure another episode of Tom's insincere apologies followed by a return to his problematic behavior. While Ariana, Katie, and Ally provide some relief, the overall production feels contrived and excessive. Continuously giving a platform to a narcissist, especially post-George Floyd comments, is appalling. It's time for Vanderpump Rules to recognize its decline and make necessary changes.
