This show is amazing, love the show and now one of my favorite shows to watch now. The show is really funny and I enjoy how polite everyone is

This isn't low-key or deadpan, it's absolutely idiotic. Small town cops come across demons or aliens and essentially do nothing. In one episode, aliens pursue them, and when one sprays acid on the cop's jacket, he laments how disrespectful it is and how the jacket is now a goner. In the end, they lock up a bunch of aliens in a shed and do nothing further. How is that funny? Nothing funny happens, this is just another show where the leads are so stupid, you wish the aliens would kill them and end our misery. Big fan of WWDITS, so coming from Jemaine Clement and Taika Waititi, this is a huge disappointment.

The girl in this tv show is really hard to understand .. making this series not that good, funny at times , short episodes. So dumb its not even funny. Saw the high score it got from RT critics, dont quit your day job

Wellington Paranormal was a huge surprise. Was not expecting to laugh as hard as I did.

The characters are so idiotic it's painful

Night of the living deadpan. It's a welcome change of pace that doesn't take itself (or much of anything else) too seriously.

A collection of comedy sketches you've seen elsewhere a decade or two ago dressed up as something 'new'. Casting is good and I like the effort they bring to the script. Sad thing is the script has been seen and heard before. As a big fan of 'low budget' parody with sci-fi, horror twists the concept is intriguing. Sadly there's nothing new served up on this comedy plate. Likely the tiktok generation hasn't seen this given the very favourable reviews. For me bares no resemblance to What We Do In The Shadows.

It's hilarious. Polite, dead pan, wholesome comedy from New Zealand. I binged the first 6 episodes in 24 hours. It helps if you have watched the 2014 movie "What We Do in the Shadows ".

Watched this on HBO max and didn't realize until the 5th episode that it was set in the same universe as "What we do in the shadows" (movie and tv show). I loved it, it is very dumb/awkward humor.

The most deadpan-style comedy that I've ever seen and also one of the most hilarious! A hidden gem.
