White Collar: Season 1 Photos
Tv Season Info
Cast & Crew
The likable show has something for everyone: handsome young star, sympathetic "older" costar, pretty former TV hottie, easy-to-follow caper plots, a little humor.
White Collar is not original. But White Collar is enjoyable.
White Collar is actually one of the best new shows of the season. The tone is effortless and agile, as it toggles from comedy to intrigue and back.
The chemistry between [Matt] Bomer and [Tim] DeKay is just right, and the contrast between their characters lends itself to banter with an edge.
Matt Bomer and Tim DeKay's entertaining double act as the suave con-man and straight-laced Fed is the backbone to the show's success, but credit is also due to its stylish look. An enjoyable mash-up of Remington Steele and CSI.
Whether the ongoing story line keeps audiences interested remains to be seen, but based on tone, premise, and execution, this one's got a fighting chance.
While USA Network deserves credit for introducing a crime drama that doesn't revolve around forensics, White Collar is forgettable.
There is much to love about this new show, from the incredibly sexy cast to their fun and interesting rapport with each other makes this show a must see.
In terms of the pilot episode and the potential this series has from the start, White Collar is exciting, intelligent, humorous and all around good TV.
If you like a good con artist yarn, enjoy the tone of USA Network's other original programs and can suspend your disbelief a little, you'll really enjoy White Collar.
Audience Reviews for White Collar: Season 1
Dec 25, 2020Incredible series. It rang a bell though. Only Jan ValJan didn't make actual friends with his policeman hunter and he didn't fake his death, and his sidekick was actually his adopted daughter not a very smart and bald guy. Loved it, definitely smacks of Les Miserables. Actually I thought the fact that they modernized and adapted a classic work to TV was genius. And very true to character. If you compare Neal with Jan ValJan you see the same person. And the very closing scene in which you catch a glimpse of Neal in France is the perfect nod to Victor Hugo's incredible talent. And it gives the happy ending for the story that unfortunately got interrupted by the French Revolution in the book. In fact Neal and Jan ValJans origins are starkly alike. The loaf of bread Jan ValJan stole because of France's cruelty to his family was so much more applicable to modern day when captured by Neal's symbolic stealing of identities because of being raised by the underground protection system. France robbed Jan from a normal life as a child as did Neal by his corrupted police father. Both learned eventually to live an honest life but we're not given the chance to be trusted. The series is rich in historical inuendo. To life!
Nov 21, 2020What a relief to see this intelligent story with real characters instead of the many violent and superficial action shows on Netflix.
Sep 05, 2020BEST SERIES I'VE EVER SEEN
Jul 03, 2020Best show ever!! Smart, sexy, creative, funny, intriguing, surprising, exciting, heartwarming, and so entertaining! Excellent premise, writing, casting, and acting. I've got withdrawals. Looking forward to the reboot.
Sep 20, 2019A charming show, well written and cast just as well, loses a little bit of momentum in the last couple seasons, but what show doesn't have a few bad episodes? The story is handled well and Matt Bomer kills it with his portrayal of Neil Caffrey, must see TV!
Jul 10, 2018Take Burn Notice, change the agency from the CIA to the FBI, change a burned agent to a convicted felon released to work with the FBI, and you've got White Collar. The plots are interesting, the good characters are likeable, and heck, some of the criminals are likeable also. I enjoy this series almost as much as Burn Notice.

Aug 28, 2017It is a thrilling show filled with a loveable cast. It never gets too predictable. I even cried at the end. There is nothing more the show can give me!
Mar 09, 2017The two leads are hilarious and work so well together, every episode has a new and thrilling mystery for them to solve and the subplots are interesting and intense. White Collar is off to a strong start and I just love it.
