D3Z 1 @RT51637195 Aug 7, 2026 Whilst the third season does have some fun moments, it does not quite reach the heights of where the previous two seasons left off in that felt quite rushed and I do feel that the show needed more than four episodes to cover the entire story and what it wanted to convey. See more Devell K @RT94108242 Aug 7, 2026 You can tell the show lacked faith from its own company by season two. This season was a spit in the face to its predecessor and should not have been made. The only thing that saved it was the acting and nostalgia. The writing was poor at best with rushed plots, poor pacing, and meaningless resolutions. At the end when Billie comes back to save Justin and his family, none of that was needed. The better ending was just letting her leave to go to the castle. I’ve also never experienced so much exposition since watching Power Rangers. You were also left with two big questions, one being self-inflicted by the show’s own writing. All the explaining that was done and no one wanted to explain how or when Manson died. This also should’ve been the season we gotten a good explanation on what Max is doing. Instead we got one less character, which was Jerry. I couldn’t even enjoy the sub shop scene at the very end with how poor everything was and your poor message of family while missing Jerry. Hope there's still room write more about the wizards of Waverly place universe, even if it's a different show. See more Kristie B @RT74209130 Aug 7, 2026 I enjoyed season 3 of wizards beyond waverly place, it was interesting to see Billie have new experiences, temporally loosing her powers, winter helping Billie conjure a magical penwulf herald and corner Silas. Milo helps Billie translate the blabber bear and gives her the message. Billie and Justin go to wizcatraz to find Damion while Roman and winter fix the Alex locator. Billie and Justin return with Damion to save Alex. Together the Russos defeated Billie's grandfather. I wish there were more episodes, there's more to discover, what happened to Mason, what harpers been up to, Max making a return alongside Jerry and Teressa, Juliet. The show has so much potential, it has brought joy to viewers around the world, I hope disney will retract their decision and consider renewing the series for more seasons. I liked this sequel series overall and don't think it did anything that I took issue with. The show definitely feels dated with its sitcom style, but I had fun watching it and laughed a good amount as well as enjoyed the story. Overall, it's not a show that anyone who doesn't have memories of watching the original should watch, but it's a nice little throwback for those who grew up watching it. Why did they decide to kill Mason off in the Wizards universe? I also felt like they could have brought Harper back. I heard that David Henrie didn’t want to bring her back, but they could have included her in the series because she was also a Russo. I understand that Selena is busy and didn’t have to be in the show, but I’m just saying they could have done better. For example, Justin’s sons just discovered they had powers. What about the family wizard competition? Will there be one? What happened to Harper? What is she doing now? Why aren’t Alex and Harper talking? How did Mason die? I’m disappointed that they messed up the whole universe. What’s the point if you’re going to leave questions unanswered? This was horrible. All the actors are great, but I love the kid actors. This is a huge disappointment. I love Wizards of the Waverly Place, and they should have just kept it that way. See more Read all reviews
