Alex M @RT22967080 May 15 The Josh Gad and Isla Fisher romantic horror-dramedy Wolf Like Me is a refreshing change of pace in modern programming. It blends genres in a way that feels both grounded and emotionally raw, never leaning too hard into the absurdity of its premise. What truly makes the show stand out is the vulnerability both actors bring to their roles. Gad and Fisher deliver performances that feel deeply human… flawed, messy, and heartfelt. Their chemistry carries the story through moments of both quiet intimacy and supernatural chaos. I sincerely hope we get a Season 3. In a sea of predictable content, Wolf Like Me dares to be weird, honest, and oddly beautiful. More of that, please. Nothing that’s going to blow your mind, but an entertaining show that is worth watching. Go in with zero expectations and you’ll be pleasantly surprised. The story is very unique and complex, the acting is superb and the chemistry with all 3 main characters is consistent and believable. Not sure how many IQ tests you've got to fail these days to review television shows -- The Guardian critic, in particular, is straight off of the short bus -- but Wolf Like Me is a thoroughly enjoyable and occasionally moving experience.
