Three words: just keep watching! This series is kept afloat through the first two episodes primarily by the talent of its actors, as their ability to transcend both reality and genre, attain a measure of relatability yet deliver comedic lines with ease, makes for an easy-to—keep-watching introduction and construction of the universe surrounding the series' characters. While it takes about two full episodes for the talent of the series' writers to seem to catch up with that of those portraying its characters, chances are high that by episode three, the viewer will have been pulled into whatever this series is about to become— luckily for them, it's about to become something truly great. Unique in its own right, "Wolf Like Me" still draws upon influences from prior series such as "Breaking Bad" (of which its directing, editorial and musical choices and transitions are quite reminiscent) to create an original, strangely relatable world. Despite a premise which sounds destined for a cheesy rom-com fate, this series instead leads the viewer to an experience that feels far more like a cinematic masterpiece, a story in which drama and comedy are so expertly interwoven that the more you watch, the more it pulls you into its world. It may take the first two or so episodes to pull together the varied threads which comprise the foundation of the story, but it is definitely worth the wait — just keep watching. Looking forward to the second season being released!

I don't understand the low critics reviews. This is binge-worthy and fresh, and sure there are some typical romantic tropes, but they're done in such a refreshing and unique way. It's difficult to keep the audiences attention in 2023, and it sure kept mine. Judging from the other audience's ratings, I'm not the only one. Can't wait for season 2.

Awesome show, great performances and nice balance between the genres, feels original even though it sometimes lacks in character depth.. give it a watch!

A show that worth a 2nd season. Storyline is fresh and uncommon which makes it more interesting. A love story that has an actual chemistry, few comedic monologues that isn't forced, thrill and horror that isn't overdone. Every episode makes you addicted to know what will actually happen next. The cast are amazing!!! Love how they portray their roles and create a real-like chemistry and love to one another. As lovers and as a family. Can't wait for season 2.
