Abby, a self-identified "fat, queer dyke" who lives with depression and obsessive-compulsive disorder, enters into a vibrantly transformative relationship during a time of crisis. Chicago improv mainstay Abby McEnany co-created and stars in this semi-autobiographical comedy series. Co-stars include Karin Anglin, Celeste Pechous and Julia Sweeney, who portrays a fictionalized version of herself who is trying to make amends for the discomfort her "Saturday Night Live" character Pat has caused for Abby. Executive producer Lilly Wachowski made an emphatic push for trans representation throughout the cast and crew including the soundtrack. Transgender musicians in the show's soundtrack include Backxwash, Quay Dash, Sateen, SuperKnova and Mel Stone.

Its humor, its pathos, its power is found in its casual, low-key specificity. Go to Full Review

08/22/2021 Cannot get enough of it. It is hilarious! Season 3, 4, 5, and 6 already please! I love how it's funny without trying or trying to not seem like it's trying. It's just so well made. Also the acting…. The lead actor is amazing seriously. See more Read all reviews
