Warm, loyal PR executive Kate and her longtime friend, no-nonsense psychiatrist Anne, attend a judgmental mommies' group, where they meet timid IT tech Jenny and blindly optimistic real estate agent Frankie. The four quickly form an unlikely friendship, sharing struggles of urban motherhood filled with the chaos of toddlers, tantrums, careers, and identity crises, all while trying to achieve the holy grail: a sense of self. The ensemble comedy is largely drawn from the personal experiences of star/co-creator Catherine Reitman ("Blackish," "It's Always Sunny in Philadelphia").

Some characters do tings that not look like there owner actions but that acting all see good. See more tamara s 08/14/2019 *Hilariously serious / seriously hilarious.* This sitcom has a great balance between fun and important questions of life, without being heavy or frustrating. It presents the every-day struggle between what you NEED and what you WANT to do for a happy life. And just in reality: this choice is not always yours. The show also reminds us: happiness is not a final destination. It's a state you constantly have to fight for. You have to remain strong, but you also have to have fun on the way :) Great!!
