It’s interesting to see the teens from an outsider’s perspective. It’s a collision between the Wilderness and civilization, much like how the adults in the present timeline are tapping into that base, primal behavior they exhibited out there.

"Croak" does not push the plot forward as much as other recent episodes, but it does present a strong look at seeing the Yellowjackets work in tandem as they move toward the shared goal of finding Hannah and Kodiak.
