For young Sheldon Cooper, it isn't easy growing up in East Texas. Being a once-in-a-generation mind capable of advanced mathematics and science isn't always helpful in a land where church and football are king. And while the vulnerable, gifted and somewhat naive Sheldon deals with the world, his very normal family must find a way to deal with him. His father, George, is struggling to find his way as a high school football coach and as father to a boy he doesn't understand. Sheldon's mother, Mary, fiercely protects and nurtures her son. For 12 years on "The Big Bang Theory," audiences came to know the iconic, eccentric and extraordinary Sheldon Cooper. In "Young Sheldon," audiences get a chance to meet him in childhood, as he embarks on his innocent, awkward and hopeful journey toward the man he will become. Jim Parsons, who plays the adult version of Sheldon on "The Big Bang Theory," narrates.

Michael A @Tomato547 Jan 20 It's definitely better when he's young and slightly high-pitched, not when h's a teenager and his voice has broken. It's not the same. So this is why seasons 1,2,3,4 are the better ones. Even though I haven't seen 4,5,6 and 7 but I'm expecting much of 4. Great show. See more Joey G Jun 5 This is a funny show, and I’m excited to see what comes next!!! See more Esteban C Apr 9 wow! this one is a banger as well! pretty much ate it all in less than a week and it was oh so worth it. we go deeper into sheldon’s life and personality, but we also adventure into the whole family, its dynamics and their lives as well. i loved how this season there was a more vulnerable side of sheldon showcased, but at the same time how he’s growing into the character we all know and love from tbbt! sheldon cooper, no one could ever make me hate you <3 See more Naqeeb G 12/17/2024 S1 was great. S2, i'mma watch it now See more Eva B 11/12/2024 Still a nice fun comedy. I liked the fact that we got to see more for the rest of the characters. See more Nick S 09/16/2024 I enjoy it a lot, its still funny and at moments deep. Good sitcom, much better still than the original show. See more Read all reviews
