It's probably the most mature work Darren Star has produced. He and his writers still hit all those familiar notes, but there's an intelligence and subtlety here that makes this rewarding in a way his other stuff is not. Go to Full Review

It's also supposed to be fun, and, six seasons in, Younger is still very much that. Go to Full Review

There's a lot to appreciate about how accessible this series made its conversations about age discrimination in the workplace and society at large, and hopefully others will draw influence from its blend of intelligence and lightheartedness. Go to Full Review

Younger has done much good for its talented cast, rebooting the careers of leads Sutton Foster and Hilary Duff while making stars of newcomers like Nico Tortorella. Go to Full Review

As crisp and salty as a packet of chips - and just as compulsive to devour ... The ensemble cast remain delightful, their interactions only becoming more relatable with familiarity. Go to Full Review

When the show concentrates on being a workplace comedy about the challenges of being a female executive, Younger truly excels. Go to Full Review

L. F Jan 13 Series 6 feels off - I'm struggling to buy any of it. Kelsey heading up the business; Diana sticking around while Kelsey and Liza overtake her; Charles leaving his own company... to start his own company; Clare staying in America. The constant back and forth with Liza, Charles and Josh feels very repetitive and drawn out. By now, Liza's character has fully tipped over into immature and irritating - she was only ever meant to be pretending to be in her 20s, but suddenly her whole character seems so naive and ditsy. Charles has become very unlikable too - sulking and short tempered whenever he doesn't get his own way, rude and manipulative towards Liza whenever they're not together. Are we still supposed to be rooting for this guy? See more Belinda J Jan 4 This show is still very binge-worthy and entertaining, but honestly (for me) the Liza and Charles storyline is cringe-worthy and as a major character, Charles is boring. Thankfully, there are many other characters to enjoy. I still think the writing in this show is much more sophisticated than other shows of its genre and highly recommend it if you are looking for something to get completely engrossed in. I know the show has a romantic triangle that is trying to (and most likely did) create team Josh and team Charles, but I am 100% team Liza (and Kelsey). I hope both characters find themselves and their own happiness. See more Bruce W Mar 11 The show should have ended last season at the latest. Everything is played out is becoming redundant. Please don't revisit the same relationships over and over again. Ugh! See more Rich L 01/26/2025 Season 6 was truly terrible. Kelsey proves that she is not ready for running a firm. The Liza & Charles story is cringe. The Josh & Clare arc also makes no sense. See more 04/25/2021 It's just okay. Sadly, not as good as it used to be. Make Younger Great Again!
