Fred Steiner worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. At the start of his Hollywood career, Steiner's music was featured in films like the dramatic adaptation "Time Limit!" (1957) with Richard Widmark, "First to Fight" (1967) and the crime flick "The St. Valentine's Day Massacre" (1967) with Jason Robards. His music also appeared in the Robert Logan adventure "Shipwreck" (1978). His music also appeared on the television show "Have Gun -- Will Travel" (CBS, 1957-1963). In the eighties and the nineties, Steiner devoted his time to various credits, such as "Blood Feud" (1982-83) and "Hotel" (ABC, 1983-88). Steiner's music was most recently featured in the animated adventure "The Adventures of Rocky and Bullwinkle" (2000) with Rene Russo. In the nineties, Steiner lent his talents to projects like "Boomerang" (1992), "Coneheads" with Dan Aykroyd (1993) and the Robin Williams and Robin Williams blockbuster "Mrs. Doubtfire" (1993). His credits also expanded to "Hollywood Sound" (1995) and "Blues Brothers 2000" with Dan Aykroyd (1998). Steiner passed away in June 2011 at the age of 88.
