Gilbert Clayton was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1920, he made his film debut in "The Mark of Zorro." In 1928, he appeared in "The Terrible People." In 1937, he had his final film role in "Dead End." Clayton began his career with a role in "Blood and Sand" (1922) with Rudolph Valentino. Clayton also appeared in "Main Street" (1923) starring Florence Vidor. Clayton was most recently credited in the Dustin Hoffman dramatic adaptation "Sphere" (1998). Clayton passed away in March 1950 at the age of 91.
