John Scott Trotter
John Scott Trotter worked on a variety of projects during his entertainment career. Trotter worked on a variety of projects during his early entertainment career, including "A Charlie Brown Christmas" (CBS, 1965), "Abie's Irish Rose" (1946) starring Joanne Dru and "And Here's the Show" (NBC, 1954-55). He also contributed to "Kiss the Boys Goodbye" (1941), "The Bing Crosby Show (02/15/64)" (CBS, 1963-64) and "The George Gobel Show" (NBC, 1954-59). In the sixties and the seventies, Trotter devoted his time to various credits, such as "It's the Great Pumpkin, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1966), "Play It Again, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1970-71) and "There's No Time For Love, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1972-73). He also worked on "A Charlie Brown Thanksgiving" (CBS, 1973) and "It's a Mystery, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1973-74). Trotter was nominated for a Music (Original Song Score) Academy Award for "A Boy Named Charlie Brown" in 1970. Trotter was most recently credited in "Cheryl Ladd: Scenes From a Special" (ABC, 1981-82). In the seventies, Trotter lent his talents to projects like "It's the Easter Beagle, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1973), "Be My Valentine, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1974-75) and "The Fabulous Funnies" (NBC, 1975-76). His credits also expanded to "You're a Good Sport, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1975-76) and "You're Not Elected, Charlie Brown" (CBS, 1976). Trotter passed away in October 1975 at the age of 67.
