Bio: Jules Furthman (March 5, 1888 - September 22, 1966) was a magazine and newspaper writer before working as a screenwriter.
Born in Chicago, Illinois, during World War II he wrote under the name "Stephen Fox". Furthman wrote screenplays for a number of popular films including Shanghai Express (1932), Mutiny on the Bounty (1935), To Have and Have Not (1944), The Big [More...]
