Actor Mark McCracken was known for his roles on the silver screen. He also starred in the TV movies "Auntie Sue" (1988-89), "Somebody Has to Shoot the Picture" (HBO, 1990-91) and "Runaway Daughters" (Showtime, 1993-94). McCracken worked in television around the start of his acting career with a role on "Ellen" (1993-98). In the nineties, McCracken devoted his time to various credits, such as "Pumpkinhead II: Blood Wings" (1994) starring Andrew Robinson, "Alaska" (1996) starring Thora Birch and "DNA" (HBO, 1996-97). He also worked on "Wild America" (1997) starring Jonathan Taylor Thomas. More recently, he tackled roles in the comedy "Death of a Saleswoman" (1999) with Melissa Papp, the Grace Phillips comedy "The Best Man" (1999) and the action flick "We Were Soldiers" (2002) with Mel Gibson. He also appeared in "Where the Wild Things Are" (2009) with Max Records. McCracken most recently acted in the Ryan Gosling crime drama "The Place Beyond the Pines" (2013).
