Michel Portal

Michel Portal produced music that was featured in many Hollywood productions. Portal began his entertainment career with his music featured in films like "La Cecilia" (1975), the adventure "Les Conquistadores" (1975) with Gerard Desarthe and the Leslie Caron comedic fantasy "Serail" (1976). His music also appeared in "Pour Clemence" (1977) and the crime feature "Ecoute Voir..." (1978) with Catherine Deneuve. In the eighties, Portal's music continued to appear on the silver screen, including in films like the Bernard Giraudeau spy thriller "Bras de Fer" (1985), the comedy "Max mon amour" (1986) with Charlotte Rampling and "Milan Noir" (1987). His work was also in the historical feature "Champ d'honneur" (1987) with Cris Campion. Portal's music was also featured in "Die Toten Fische" (1990) with Erwin Leder, the Michel Serrault historical drama "Docteur Petiot" (1990) and the Joris Ivens fantasy "Une Histoire de vent" (1991). His music was also featured in "En toute innocence" (1991) and "Le Retour de Casanova" (1992) with Alain Delon. Portal most recently worked on the dramatic period piece "Jean De La Fontaine, Le Defi" (2007) with Lorant Deutsch.
