Paul Plishka
Paul Plishka was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. He appeared in a number of television specials, including "La Boheme" (1976-77), "Don Carlo" (PBS, 1979-1980) and "Mahagonny" (PBS, 1979-1980). He also appeared in "Les Troyens" (PBS, 1983-84) and "Lucia di Lammermoor" (PBS, 1983-84). He also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Met Centennial Gala Telecast" (1983-84), "Simon Boccanegra" (PBS, 1984-85) and "Pavarotti Plus!... Plus!!" (PBS, 1988-89). He also appeared in "Pavarotti Plus!" (PBS, 1990-91). Additionally, he could be seen on a variety of television specials like "Falstaff" (1993-94), "The Richard Tucker Opera Gala (1993)" (PBS, 1993-94) and "An Ode to Joy: The New Jersey Symphony Orchestra" (PBS, 1997-98). He also appeared in "Billy Budd" (PBS, 1997-98). Plishka most recently worked on "Luciano Pavarotti 30th Anniversary Gala Performance" (PBS, 1998-99).
