Robert Gillespie

Robert Gillespie rose to fame as an actor, gracing the silver screen many times over the course of his Hollywood career. Early on, Gillespie landed roles in comedic films like "Otley" (1969) with Tom Courtenay and Romy Schneider, "A Severed Head" (1970) with Lee Remick and Richard Attenborough and "Catch Me a Spy" (1971) with Kirk Douglas and Marlene Jobert. He also appeared in "The National Health" (1973) with Lynn Redgrave. He continued to act in productions like the adventurous drama "Barry McKenzie Holds His Own" (1974) with Barry "Dame Edna" Humphries"At the Earth's Core" (1976) with Doug McClure and the action picture "Force 10 From Navarone" (1978) with Robert Shaw.
