Roberta Peters
Roberta Peters was an actress who had a successful Hollywood career. She appeared in a number of television specials, including "Jimmy Durante Meets the Lively Arts" (1965-66), "The Perry Como Christmas Show" (NBC, 1965-66) and "Variety" (ABC, 1973-74). In the beginning of her Hollywood career, Peters acted in films like the David Wayne biopic "Tonight We Sing" (1953). She also contributed to a variety of television specials, including "Met Centennial Gala Telecast" (1983-84), "Sylvia Fine Kaye's Musical Comedy Tonight III (The Spark and the Glue)" (PBS, 1985-86) and "Die Fledermaus" (PBS, 1986-87). She also appeared in "City Hall" (1996). Additionally, she could be seen on a variety of television specials like "The Presidential Inaugural Gala" (CBS, 1988-89) and "Van Cliburn" (1994-95). Peters more recently worked on "Great Moments in Opera" (PBS, 1996-97).
