Salvatore Vassallo was an actor who founded his entertainment career success with roles in film. Vassallo's career began by acting in comedies like the Brendan Fraser blockbuster "George of the Jungle" (1997) and the Mike Myers blockbuster "Austin Powers: the Spy Who Shagged Me" (1999). He worked in television in his early acting career as well, including a part on "That '70s Show" (Fox, 1997-2006). He kept working in film throughout the nineties and the early 2000s, starring in the dramatic adaptation "A Time for Dancing" (2002) with Shiri Appleby and the Mike Myers box office smash comedy sequel "Austin Powers in Goldmember" (2002). His work around this time also included a part on the TV movie "These Old Broads" (ABC, 2000-01). He also appeared in the TV special "Reba McEntire Live By Request" (1999-2000). Film continued to be his passion as he played roles in the Christopher Walken musical comedy "The Country Bears" (2002) and the action movie "Gigli" (2003) with Ben Affleck. Vassallo most recently acted in the Vincent Zamora musical "Naked Boys Singing!" (2007).
