Sandy Roth
Sandy Roth was an actor who had a successful Hollywood career. In 1924, he made his assistant directorial debut on "Broadway After Dark." In 1928, he was Assistant Director on "Steamboat Bill," which starred Buster Keaton. In 1940, he was Assistant Director on "The Mortal Storm," which starred Margaret Sullivan and James Stewart. Roth began his career with a role in "Hell's Highway" (1932). Roth began to focus on film after appearing in the Walter Huston crime feature "The Beast of the City" (1932). Later in his career, Roth acted in "Midnight Mary" (1933) with Loretta Young.
