A zaftig, dark-eyed actress with a fetching gap-toothed smile, Solange Milhaud specializes in small character roles in both film and television. Her earliest credit is as a hotel concierge in an episode of the short-lived police drama "François Kléber" in 1996. She made her film debut the following year in the well-received quirky indie drama "I Hate Love," starring Jeanne Balibar. Several years' worth of small roles followed; some of the more notable films she appeared in during this era include "Once Upon An Angel," the 2002 romantic drama written and directed by heartthrob Vincent Perez and starring Guillaume Depardieu (the late son of acting legend Gérard Depardieu), and the 2005 television movie "Dalida," a biopic of the legendary Egyptian-French pop singer and actress who committed suicide in 1987. In 2005, Milhaud scored her highest profile role in famed writer and director Luc Besson's romantic fantasy comedy "Angel-A," in which she played the mysterious La Femme de Saint-Lazare opposite "Amelie" actor Jamel Debbouze and Danish ex-model Rie Rasmussen. She followed this with a small role as a maid in "Taxi 4," a sequel to the Besson-penned action comedy hit, and the apocalyptic thriller "8th Wonderland." On the small screen, she had a 2003 guest spot on the long-running crime show "Les Cordier, Juge et Flic."
