Stephen Pearcy

Stephen Pearcy, born July 30, 1959, in San Diego, California, is a renowned American rock musician best known as the lead vocalist and primary songwriter for the band Ratt. Pearcy's distinctive voice and energetic stage presence helped propel Ratt to stardom during the 1980s, a period marked by the rise of glam metal and hard rock. Ratt achieved major success with their debut album "Out of the Cellar" (1984), which included the hit single "Round and Round". The song became an anthem of the era and earned Ratt significant airplay on MTV, helping them reach a broad audience. Their follow-up albums, "Invasion of Your Privacy" (1985) and "Dancing Undercover" (1986), further solidified their place in rock history, producing hits like "You're in Love" and "Lay It Down".
