Ted Chapman has built an incredible presence on the big screen throughout his acting career. Chapman began his career with roles in the comedy "Bananas" (1971) with Woody Allen and "Charlie Cobb: Nice Night For a Hanging" (NBC, 1976-77). Chapman began to focus on film after appearing in the sequel "Airport 77" (1977) with Jack Lemmon, the horror movie "Don't Answer the Phone!" (1979) with Flo Gerrish and the comedy "Airplane!" (1980) with Robert Hays. He also appeared in the comedy "R.S.V.P." (1984) with Ray Colbert. Later in his career, Chapman edited the Leonard Nimoy animated motion picture "Transformers - The Movie" (1986).
