Biography:
Spence D. has been an ambitious scribbler specializing in pop culture for over14 years. He got his start in the legendary hip-hop ‘zine The Bomb and has written for publications like Devil in the Woods, Guitar One, Stance, Warp Japan, While You Were Sleeping, XLR8R, and others. Additionally he has served as a Contributing Editor to Urb, an Associate Editor at The Gavin, and a Senior Editor at IGN.com. He watches way too many Hong Kong action films, drinks entirely too much beer, and reads an excessive amount of comic books. He also enjoys skiing and is an Ichthyo-Ovo-Lacto Vegetarian (he eats fish, dairy products, and vegetables). And in case you were wondering, the D. stands for "dookey."
