Carl (Matthew Rhys) is a naive country attorney who heads to London after his brother Justin dies in a suspicious drowning. He encounters the social circles that his brother was part of, and discovers a world of drugs, hedonism, wild parties, and throbbing dance music. This world--and Justin's ex-girlfriend Sunny (Sienna Guillory)--proves seductive to Carl, and he gets enveloped in it as Justin did, which may lead him down the same path of danger that proved deadly for his brother. Like HUMAN TRAFFIC and PARTY MONSTER, SORTED explores the sensual onslaught of the rave scene, allowing the audience to discover this world just as its protagonist does. [More]

The flick's got energy and style to spare, but very little in the brain and logic departments.
Our involvement in the drama is undermined and the movie self-destructs.
