Implausible, ludicrous, unoriginal. But it's also great fun, mainly because the acting is quite good and the vampire make-up is so hilariously dreadful that you long for the doctor protagonist (Beal) to succumb again. Pinching bits from The Wolf Man, Jekyll and Hyde and Cat People, this is drive-in schlock of the highest ordure. See more 10/10/2016 Nothing too interesting here. This movie is a really stupid ripoff of Dr. Jekyll & Mr. Hyde. I mean, it's almost exactly the same thing. The ending is like every other film of the last 30 years around the time of this film, slasher mystery, find guy, kill him, end of movie. That's it. Plain Jane.
