The residents of Shelbyville, Tennessee, are proud of their hometown star, actress Sondra Locke, so everyone is excited by the rumor that she may be coming back to the hamlet. A group of five young friends (led by THE CLASS's Jason Ritter and THE O.C.'s Autumn Reeser) think that the starlet's return may be the key to their dreams of escaping the town, so they try their best to guarantee her appearance. Emmy winner Allison Janney (THE WEST WING), Cheryl Hines (CURB YOUR ENTHUSIASM), and Keith Carradine (NASHVILLE) also star in this film that picked up the Special Jury Prize at the Bluegrass Independent Film Festival. OUR VERY OWN also marks the return to the screen for Mary Badham, best known for playing Scout in TO KILL A MOCKINGBIRD. [More]
