05/25/2014 I see some Islandic films once in a while. They are usually pretty good - often caused by natureshots combined with originality and some pretty foreign culture. This film is (as I see it) the first part of two films. At least they do seem connected. It's pretty dark, involving several characters - all of them got some sort of serious problems. Rugged, raw and serious and pretty well acted. It's an OK film, but nothing big. I miss that mentioned nature stuff - this is just a sad drama film that struggled to get under my skin. This film is just about 90 minutes and the shortest of the two so I guess I will give it's follow up "Foreldrar" a go in a minute. 6 out of 10 revealing gift wraps.
