See more Diego P @RT37951913 Jun 8 The film REC is easily the best found-footage film ever made, a film that manages to be scary and, above all, unsettling. The acting is very good, reflecting the stress and desperation of the situation. However, there are parts that aren't as scary and moments where the pacing is a bit slow. Even so, it's one of the best horror films I've ever seen and one of the best Spanish films. The main characters are stupid, but let's be so fr, every horror movie has stupid main characters. See more Peter C @RT59700763 Mar 16 REC is another found footage/documentary style film. It was a good movie for it's time; however, hasn't aged well. The main actor was not very good, and these movies lose appeal when the main character turns to the cameraman and says "Make sure you film this" the entire movie. Also, movies that become isolated into one location, especially for a Zombie movie, become redundant as the movie and scenes take place in the same 5 rooms.
