Much to her son Joseph’s (Stanley Kamel) chagrin, her husband Sol (Fyvush Finkel) has cremated her and insists on carrying her urn everywhere with him. At the same time, Joseph’s free-spirited ex-wife Zoe (Rosalee Mayeaux) shows up for the funeral. Their son Daniel (Greg Zola) also makes a surprise appearance: he has been in Israel for two years studying to be a Hassidic Jew, unbeknownst to any of the family. And if that wasn’t enough excitement, cousin Albert (Irwin Keyes) from the wrong side of the tracks, makes a surprise visit with outlandish requests of his own. --© Official Site [More]

Reviews for The Urn
Writer-director Skip Usen's concept may sound zany, but as a film, it's labored and earns almost no laughs.
