02/09/2010 A great documentary about a project, having journals being a great source to bring people and there lives close together and showing things about themselves, that awakens, and helps give people closure. At the same time shows art can be very diversified than most people realize. I recommend this documentary to those journal/diary writers and those creative arts that struggle with there walls. See more 09/12/2009 The 1000 Journal project was a brilliant idea. Simply "release" 1000 blank journals throughout the world and let them travel freely to see where it would end up. This documentary follows the stories not only of a few of the returned journals, but the lives of some of the people who filled the pages. While the film is touching, humorous, sad, and every emotion in between throughout, the film felt distant and unconnected to this project which is so personal.
