An average 80s teen sex movie. It's not a comedy, though, I'd like to say. It would have been better if it was. Still, it's watchable, and realistic. The structure of the stories reminds me of Fast Times at Ridgemont: a group of teens who want to start a rock band and find love, but have to overcome various obstacles. The actors are okay, they're just normal teenagers who act like normal teenagers, and it works well enough, but no one really stands out as a great actor. Plus, the ending was a bit of a let down after everything, as it leaves loose ends. Overall, an okay movie.

Far from the best 80s teen sex comedy (that's The Last American Virgin), but pretty (embarrassingly) entertaining once you get into it. With the first screen appearance of Michelle Bauer (as a half-naked groupie in a dream sequence), Mel Welles (in pretty much the same role he played in The Last American Virgin), and Wings Hauser as a rock star named Red Dog. Oh yeah, and the skateboarding bass player gets naked & killed by Malcolm McDowell in Schrader's Cat People. Yes, it's true - I know TOO much about this frickin' piece of crap.
