When Andre Morestan serves as a juror, he is entranced by the woman on trial for murdering her lover. Andre's fellow jurors want to hang her. But he won't budge from his belief that the defendant, Natalie Roguin, is innocent. Eventually, he sways the jury, and she is set free. Because Natalie has no home, Andre offers her shelter and employment. He tells his wife that Natalie is the daughter of a former classmate. Andre's teenage son, Pierre, however, suspects his father is sleeping with Natalie. Then Pierre winds up falling for the mysterious woman himself!
