IAM M @IAM1655 Jun 7 Moonraker is one of the worst Bond films I have ever seen. It tries to copy Star Wars at the end so much. They made Jaws a clumsy character than a menacingly character he was in The Spy Who Loved Me. See more David D @David2026 Apr 28 Another one of the greats. Tutto il resto è una copia dei precedenti film, villain senza grande carisma seppure con un'idea interessante; anche la bond girl non è certo la migliore della saga. Alcune sequenze sono comunque interessanti e seguono il filone per spettacolarità. Finalmente ci si porta dietro anche un villain da un precedente capitolo, seppure con una svolta finale che lo rende interessante. Drax wants to reintroduce hand picked couples to reproduce and replace earths population . Also, featured in film, assassin Jaws returns. Jaws pursuit of James Bond feels like watching the Coyote failing to catch the roadrunner. Ending comes off like a cheesy parody of Star Wars. The "Bond girl is a trap" routine returns, Drax is so obviously the villain that there is no fun in the reveal, and the plot runs on convenience more than logic. The opening parachute scene briefly promises excitement, then quickly exposes the film’s technical limits, a pattern repeated with fights that rely on sped up footage to fake impact. The space laser sequence is especially weak, even if the idea of a villain lair in orbit is fine on paper. Jaws still feels like a prop, only gaining personality in the Dolly moments.
