Movie Info

Paul Bartel made his feature-film directorial debut with this twisted and jet-black comedy that chronicles the exploits of a teenage runaway who ends up staying with assorted weirdoes at her auntie's hotel. Everyone there seems to be a pervert in one way or the other and that is fine, but when murders start occurring, the girl realizes that she is in over her head.

½

A sexually curious teenage runaway negotiates the deviant scumbags in her crazy aunt's creaky boarding house. Director Paul Bartel slathers on the spooky, sleazy psychosexual atmosphere in this tastefully depraved debut film.
